Our Curriculum Mat shows the learning we completed during the first half term.
Shared Reading
We read The Last Bear by Hannah Gold during our shared reading lessons. We completed our shared reading activities on the iPads.
We also met Hannah Gold during a virtual author session.
Science
During our Science lessons, we learnt about plants. We conducted experiments to find out how long it would take for our cress seeds to grow as well as experiments to find out about how water is transported in plants. We also learnt about the different parts of plants and the lifecycle of a flowering plant.
Geography
As a part of our Geography learning, we have been learning about the resources that can be found in the Arctic as well as learning about what global warming is and the impact it has upon our planet.
RE (Religious Education)
During our Religious Education (RE) lessons, we have been learning about what Christians believe about God, temptation, the creation story and about the Bible.
French
During our French lessons, we have been learning about where France is and how to greet each other in French.
PE (Physical Education)
We all know and understand how important it is to keep fit and healthy. Every week, we have our fitness sessions where we practice each activity for one minute and write our total.
